Two Alzheimer suffers are sitting in hospital when the one turns to the other:

"My doctor says I'm getting better. He said that I can go to the shop, can I get you anything."

"Sure, I'd like an ice cream cone, but shouldn't you right it down?"

"No, I'm getting better. What can I get you?"

"A raspberry cone please, but shouldn't you write it down?"

"No, really, I'll remember. What do you want?"

"Get me a large triple-decker raspberry cone with choc filling, please. But
please write it down."

Eventually his buddy leaves for the shop, and returns a few minutes later.

"Here's your meat pie."
